Join the Office for Institutional Accessibility and ADA Compliance (OIA) for a virtual training conducted via Zoom. This introductory level training is designed for USC website owners, developers or content managers who want to learn how evaluate and test their websites to identify accessibility issues leading them build a more inclusive web presence inclusive for people with disabilities.

This session will cover essential best practices, including proper heading structure, descriptive hyperlinks, meaningful alt text, effective image descriptions, logical reading order, tables and the impact of color and media. We’ll also explore how to use USC’s Manual Evaluation Template to log these issues for reporting.

Participants will leave with practical strategies and a toolkit of accessibility checkers and resources to help ensure their website content can be accessed and understood by all.
